Rare 1983 Gibson Challenger. Late 70’s / early 80’s Vintage Gibson guitars are becoming very collectible.
The Challenger is one of last affordable vintage models because most players and collectors have never seen one before.
This one plays great with low easy action. The no nonsense one pickup, one volume, one tone knob configuration delivers excellent tone with long sustain.
It has a few dings and normal play wear that you would expect from a 29 year old vintage axe, overall nice condition, pickguard has suffered a little.
No repairs or issues, all original example.
There are not many Gibson guitars in this price range new or old. This is a great deal for the savvy buyer looking for a vintage bargain.
