What the blue book says:
REDWING GUITARS,
Instruments previously produced in St. Albans, United Kingdom during the mid-1990s.
Luthier Patrick Eggle (of Patrick Eggle Guitars fame) left his namesake company in 1994 to start Redwing Guitars. At Redwing, he built a few high quality solid body electric guitars that feature his original designs. Models included the Tornado Signature and Ventura Signature with alder bodies, figured maple tops, bird’s-eye maple necks, Jim Cairnes pickups, Schaller tuners, and Wilkinson bridges. By 2001, Eggle had moved to the U.S. where he began to build acoustic guitars under the Patrick James Eggle Guitars trademark.
